Core Production Process of Lanterns (8 Abbreviated Steps)​

Creative Design:

Confirm the application scenario, theme and size, draw sketches + 3D modeling, and output a Bill of Materials (BOM).

Frame Construction:

Small-sized (≤1m): Bamboo strips/thin iron wire/PVC pipes bent and fixed, coated with clear varnish;

Medium & large-sized (≥1m): Steel bars/solid round steel welded into main and secondary frames, polished and sprayed with anti-rust/weather-resistant paint.

Base Mounting:

Select light-transmitting fabrics such as silk/waterproof PVC, cut to size, and smoothly attach to the frame with environmental glue/waterproof glue to eliminate air bubbles.

Decoration & Shaping:

Hand-paint patterns or paste colored paper/sequins, add 3D elements like foam and silk to restore thematic details.

Lighting Installation:

Small-sized: 5V/12V LED string lights/bulbs; Medium & large-sized: Waterproof LED modules, wired in parallel and fixed;

Conduct power-on test for brightness, color and circuit safety.

Waterproof & Protection (For Outdoor Use Only):

Spray waterproof/UV-resistant coating on fabrics, wrap waterproof tape around light source interfaces, and add waterproof bases for large lanterns.

Assembly & Debugging:

Splice modules of large lanterns, inspect appearance and lighting effect, and test stability (wind resistance/anti-falling).

Inspection & Packaging:

Conduct quality inspection according to industry standards; package small lanterns with bubble wrap + cartons, and disassemble large lanterns for packaging in wooden cases for transportation.
