2026 Qingxiu Mountain Spring Festival Lantern Show · Project Case

Hosted at Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning, Guangxi, the 2026 Qingxiu Mountain Spring Festival Lantern Show is a key cultural and tourism project for the local Spring Festival. Leveraging the scenic area’s natural mountains and waters, we created an immersive large-scale light feast. Running through major traditional festivals, it drew crowds from across the region and became a benchmark night tourism event. The project consists of various large themed lantern groups, landscape lights and interactive light installations, featuring excellent ornamental value, cultural connotation and outstanding durability for long-term outdoor operation.

 

• Venue: Landscape zones of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, Nanning
• Operation Period: 2026 Spring Festival season, covering the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival
• Scale: Dozens of large and medium-sized themed light sculptures, light tunnels and popular photo spots were installed across the whole venue, covering walkways, lakes, lawns and woods.

The lantern show integrates traditional Chinese New Year customs, local ethnic culture and zodiac elements, with well-divided themed zones:

1. Auspicious New Year Zone: Featured zodiac lanterns, blessing decorations and festive archways, serving as stunning entrance landscapes and popular check-in spots.
2. Folk Culture Zone: Combined distinctive Guangxi ethnic patterns and traditional totems with light art, showcasing local cultural charm.
3. Kids & Interactive Zone: Adopted cartoon and animal-shaped lanterns as well as dreamy light tunnels, bringing fun experiences for families and boosting social sharing.
4. Water Lantern Zone: Large floating light sculptures on the lake created stunning night views with shimmering reflections, becoming the core attraction of the whole event.

All lanterns boast vivid shapes and layered lighting effects, wonderful to view both day and night.
