Full Moon and Reunion, Lights Shining on Macao 2025 Macao Mid-Autumn Lantern Exhibition Case

Led by the Macao Municipal Affairs Bureau, the 2025 Mid-Autumn Lantern Exhibition takes "Full Moon and Reunion" as the core theme. The main exhibition is located in Lou Lim Ioc Garden, with extended displays at Taipa Central Park, Senado Square, Macao Science Center and other landmarks. It presents a grand lantern combination that integrates traditional folk culture and local Macao characteristics.

1. Lou Lim Ioc Garden Main Exhibition Area
   Full Moon & Reunion Themed Arch

   An iconic entrance decoration designed with lotus, full moon and auspicious cloud patterns. Blended with warm golden and soft pink lighting, it is engraved with the theme slogan, conveying the beautiful meaning of reunion and happiness.

    

   Jade Rabbit, Lotus and Mooncake Lantern

   The core highlight of the exhibition. Three lovely jade rabbits surround a huge lotus lantern, with full moon and mooncake modeling in the center. Bright lighting and layered shapes interpret classic Mid-Autumn culture. Combined with Macao’s lotus symbol, it has become a popular photo spot.

   
   Giant Moon Interactive Lantern

   A 5-meter large glowing moon installation with realistic lunar surface texture. It supports close viewing and photography, creating a strong immersive moon appreciation atmosphere.

   
   Traditional Palace Lantern Corridor

   Hundreds of Chinese-style palace lanterns are arranged into a long corridor, painted with lotus patterns and Mid-Autumn poems. Soft warm lights create an elegant and traditional cultural scene.

   Cartoon Jade Rabbit Lanterns — Taipa Central Park

   Designed for families and children, with cute Q-version rabbit, mini lotus and colorful round lights. Bright colors and lively shapes are perfect for family leisure and sightseeing.

   
   National Peace & Prosperity Themed Lanterns — Senado Square

   Combining Mid-Autumn and National Day elements with red and warm gold tones. Matched with lotus and cloud patterns, it blends well with local Portuguese-style buildings and shows a festive festive atmosphere.

   
   Aerospace Jade Rabbit Lanterns — Macao Science Center

   An innovative design combining aerospace and Mid-Autumn elements. With starry sky background, space rabbit, rocket and planet lights, it interprets the concept of exploring the moon and attracts young visitors.
